Hi David,

My family depends from Quakers in Cass County. The had a community in Birch Lake, and the cemetery is there with many Quakers buried there. They were also quite involved with the underground railroad there. I am going to document them on WT. Is there a way to include them on this page?

Thank you.

Best to you and thank you for all the work you are doing.

Greetings Bob,

If you look at other state pages, you shall see the idea was to include meetings and burial grounds with dates, counties, references and categories. Several meetings and info are found at https://www.quakermeetings.com/Plone/search_display?MeetingName=&County=&StateOrProvince=Michigan&generalSearchWord=

I plan to place the same type of tables on this space. If you have profiles for your relatives created, I can help with getting you categories created for their monthly meetings and burial grounds.

Hi David,

Thank you. I noticed that there is a Birch Lake Cemetery category (which I have been using). My family was in Cass County and in the Birch Lake Quaker Meeting. I guess they then became the Penn Friends Quaker Meeting. Here is more info about them: https://www.urscc.org/birch-lake-quakers.html. I am creating a Space page for this great resource, written by my great aunt.

Can we get a category for the Birch Lake Quakers?

Thank you for the help.
