Wikipedia only says McKerrow is a surname and lists seven famous McKerrow's. Not much to go on.

Mckerrow Name Meaning :- Scottish: of uncertain derivation. Some sources believe it to be an Anglicized form of Gaelic Mac Cearrach, Mac Cearrbhaich ‘son of the gambler’, while Woulfe derives it from Mac Ciothruadha ‘son of Ciothruaidh’, a personal name of Norse origin. McKerrow is not listed on "What's my Clan" web site. The name seems to have originated in Ayrshire. Many of our current McKerrow profiles were born in Ayshire or Lanarkshire.
