HI Rick,

Do you have any idea what the so-called Volume 3 of the Howe Genealogies by Marion Price Taylor is? Have you ever seen it? I cannot find it listed in NEHGS/American Ancestors where Volumes 1 and 2 were published. It is listed as a volume 3 published by NEHGS in WorldCat.org, It is listed in archives.org as a volume 3, but all links go back to Volume 1. There are a number of add-ons to Volumes 1 and 2 in the NEHGS catalog, but nothing by Taylor and nothing that would appear to be a Volume 3.

Is there any reason to list a Volume 3 here? I doubt if anyone has used it as a reference. I have a query in to NEHGS to see if the WorldCat reference is legitimate.

I talked to a NEHGS librarian. She could not identify a volume 3 and speculated that it might refer to the many boxes of sources stored at NEHGS that were used in researching the 1929 publication of the Howe Genealogies.
