With a genealogy of Prof. and Mrs. William S. Tyler. William Seymour Tyler (1810-1897) born in Harford, Pa. was the son of Nabby Seymour and Joab Tyler. Tyler ancestry is traced to Job Tyler of Andover, Massachusetts who was born ca. 1619. William was a teacher and married Amelia Ogden Whiting (1819-1904).
