Hello A,

Lat week I replaced the '&' in the marriage location of Richard Cresswell (1544-1612) and Anne Parbate (abt.1574-) with 'and' because '&' is not a permitted character in a location field, but you have put it back. Please remove it again.

Error - 662: Separators in Marriage Location: In the Marriage Location field no separators should appear except for: comma , dot . space, dash -, single quotation mark, ' pairs of parentheses ( ) or pairs of brackets [ ]. All other separators create this error.

Abraham Bledsoe doesn't mention dead sons or Even Thomas, my grandfather, but he existed with other sources, so I'm saying no. I'm still looking . You do what you want because That profile will still be connected to the Bledsoe's. You may notice Jerry Lewis does not mention his son his will?

Hi

Do you have a source for changing the parents for Greenlees-327?

My source for the parents I attached was the Ralston book. While it is not a primary source it is usually very reliable and you provided no source at all.

I appreciate the other contributions with sources you have made to the profiles I manage. I do think you should provide a source if you are going to change parents.

Marty Acks will be leading the Musty Dusty 2020 Clean-A-Thon Team again this year. I hope you will consider joining us again or for the first time. It is coming up again in 4 short weeks from April 24-26.

If interested, leave a post on this G2G thread https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1007803/have-you-registered-for-the-2020-spring-clean-a-thon-yet.

For more information on the team. see the page: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Musty_Dusty_Pre-1500_Clean-A-Thon2020

Elsibeth woods and worsop worsopp are not the same person.

Worsop never married woods. He married his first cousin Elsebeth woods, her father was Thomas woods. I believe.

So the source showing worsop marrying him is just wrong.

Yes I agree that Warsop-45 did not marry JOHN ANDREW WOODS. Why is she on his profile and unsourced?

Also I suspect that Elizabeth Woods-7625 has been sourced from https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sir_William_Parsons,_1st_Baronet_of_Bellamont and that may have been based on The McClenaghan Papers. I need to get to my library to check the Papers which is where the error may have crept in. All the details provided from Wikipedia for Woods-7625 are those that match the profile of Elizabeth Worsopp ie she was the daughter of Thomas WORSOPP (not WOODS) and Elizabeth PARSONS (her father being Richard PARSONS MP). Her aunt JANE PARSONS married John Francke-59 and in his will 1665 he transferred property to Lady Elizabeth Worsopp (not WOODS). "I give unto my Lady Elizabeth Worsopp the moyety of what is in Auxvaire of her Sister’s portion as it arose out of those lands sett out unto them for their satisfaction my late wife what has been _ married by me __ and remained under my hands. (Elizabeth Parsons Worsopp was the sister of his late wife, Jane Parsons Francke)". I know it is confusing but if you work through it you may come to the same conclusion. I suspect that there was no cousin Elizabeth Woods and the error may have started with Hamlet McClenaghan. Daughter of Thomas Worsopp and Elizabeth Parsons married John Wood. I have yet to add her profile. It will take me about a week to get to the library.

Hello A,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or special event. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.

Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.
