Re Joseph Alcee Abshire-78. The unsourced marriage date given on his profile is after the birth of his children. When the census was taken in 1910, this couple declared they had been married 18 years [1892]. Please see the profile for census data and children's birth dates.

Re Dermas/Darmas Sonnier-200. The error report flagged because his birth date 1800 was way before his father was born. I found 2 Dermas/Darmas Sonniers. One born earlier and one born with the parents you have. I left the records for both men on the profile, not sure which one you were aiming for.

Hi Roger, good to see you working on profiles. If you need help finding sources, please ask. Family Search.org is free and has census information. Also, some profiles are generating errors because the birth/death dates conflict with other linked profiles. To see errors in your family tree, look for the error tab under your name and wiki-tree id at the top of your page.

Hi there and thank you for your comment. I am computer savvy but find wiki hard to navigate. I'm also on mobile not computer so it's likely just me.

Was there more of a message than your Y DNA? If so, I don't know how to find it but can log in to a computer later and check.

Does any of our history line up, or family locations ? If we are a Y match, I'd love to explore that. I have some unsolved mysteries there. Thx

You might also want to check out our gedcom instruction The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'. Please keep in mind that our vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile.
