"Born October 4, 1921 in Dresden she was a daughter of the late Owen and Ameda (St. Clair) Symthe. She was a member of the Dresden United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hamby was formerly employed by the Bush Woolen Mill of Dresden and Essex Wire Company of Zanesville."[1]
Erma died 16 October 2013 in Zanesville. Burial was at Dresden Cemetery.[2]
