Biography
Anna was born on 20 Jun 1767 and baptised on 6 Jul 1767 in St Peter & St Nicholas, Liverpool.
She married John Johnstone in 1790. They had seven children.[1]
1851 census: Bexley, Kent; Anna Johnstone 83, widow, landed proprietor & annuitant, b. Liverpool, Head; A E 58, dau, unmarried; Hugh 51, son, landed proprietor & annuitant, b. Marylebone; his children: M E 17, H B 16, S F 12, E S 10 (all dau, b. Bexley), E J 8, E S 6 (both son, b. Bexley); a governess & 5 servants.
She passed away in 1860. Probate (Principal Registry 17 Jan 1861): of Danson, Kent, widow, will proved by Hugh Johnston of Danson Esq. the son & sole executor.
