On 23 May 1679 Ann married Edward Bax at Thomas Parson's House, Cowfold, Sussex. The Quaker marriage record describes Edward as of Ockley, Surrey and Ann as daughter of Thomas Smith of Bolney, Sussex.^[1] They had the following children:

• Ann, born at Ockley, Surrey on 29 February 1679/80 (Quaker 12th month 1679)^[2]
• Richard, born at Ockley, Surrey on 29 October 1681^[3][4]
• Henry, born at Ockley, Surrey on 31 August 1683^[5][6]
• Edward, born at Ockley, Surrey on 26 December 1685 and described as 3rd son in the Quaker birth record^[7][8]
• Sarah, born on 23 March 1687^[9][10]
• Thomas, born at Ockley, Surrey on 26 September 1691^[11][12]
• Nathaniel, born at Ockley, Surrey, on 19 October 1693^[13][14]
• Ann, born at Ockley, Surrey on 23 May 1696^[15][16]

Ann was buried at Plaistow, Sussex on 30 May 1722. Her residence is given as Capel, Surrey in the Quaker death and burial record, which describes her as a widow.^[17][18]
