Alex Smith was born on 6th August 1913 at Dimboola, Victoria, Australia, the son of James Smith and Kate Rebecca Shipsides.^{[1] [2] [3]}

Alex worked as an Assembler. He gave his wife, Jean Mary Smith as his next of kin and gave her address North Shore post office. North Shore is a suburb of Geelong, Victoria.

Death. Alex died on 16th October 1974 at Rainbow, Victoria, Australia. ^[7][8]
