Biography

John married into the Andrewartha Tree, and has researched extensively this, and the Trewartha tree, in and around Cornwall.

We first met in Perth, about 1999, when he and his wife were on a holiday, and we discussed the trees, swapped our then small gedcoms, and progressed from there,

Later, John became involved in the Cornwall OPC, and managed the Gwithian Parish after Kathie Weigel retired from the voluntary post.

John visited Cornwall, and tracked down some of the then current tree members, attempting to discover the origins of the 1500 and 1600's namesakes.

Thank you John for your work, which is now being used in this WikiTree

Re John Smith, I miss him, he was invaluable in his knowledge of the Aa and Tre family. I really hope all his research is not lost.
