William was born in 1887. He was the son of William Slatton and Mary Cushen. He married Mary Missouri Keith [citation needed] and their children were Elwood, Woodfin Brooks, Bens William, Ernest Bailey and Nolan Edward Slatton.
He passed away in 1963. He is buried in Smith's Chapel (Pannell's) in Ider as is his wife, his father and many relatives. [1]
