You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree - if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.
If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top right, or head over to the G2G forum and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House. You might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.
I see that you are looking for information on your family. If you are just looking you don't need to Volunteer. You will find the People Search under FIND in the menus, upper right of this page. You can also ask questions in the G2G forum.
If you meant to Volunteer to help grow this wonderful collaborative Tree, please leave a note to that effect. We would love to have you!
When my Dad died in 2012, I was delighted to find that he had computerized family records. What a great starting point for me - and what a fascinating endeavor!
Some of the "records" are suspect, and many ancestral trails have petered out, but the research is satisfying,
I look forward to being part of the WikiTree community, and will gladly help others in their research. (In many cases, I have additional data on a person already in the database.)
Hi again, I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of the process that you might find helpful. Also, about 'Importing a GEDCOM' Because WikiTree has only one profile for each person, the further back you go in your ancestry, the more likely cousins will find you and help out.
