George, son of Henry Simpson & Sarah Sanderson (age 60) died during an accident while working on the railroads on 6 September 1941 in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada.[7]
Conductor Found - Dead Beside Track KAMLOOPS (CP). George H Simpson, 60, Canadian Pacific Railway freight conductor, was found dead on the railway track about a mile from Kamloops, today. An inquest will be held Monday afternoon. It is thought Simpson tried to swing aboard the train as it started up, while he was walking toward the engine to Investigate an unexpected stop. His widow lives here. Victor Moore of Kamloops. another C.P.R. employee, died at Yale Friday after he had become unwell while at work.
