My family tree is on another website.
Taking interest of both sides of my family tree, so far able to trace back about 14 generations on one side, have uploaded and linked many family graves at findagrave, and have updated listings on Myheritage and Ancestry site but dislike their commercial nature, before taking more interest in Wikitree and FamilySearch. Would ideally like to track down more primary sources for some family events that don’t appear to be recorded, and track before 1750s branches when information is extant
with

Since you uploaded a GEDCOM, I wanted to give you the link to the GEDCOM help pages. The GEDCOM will not automatically populate your tree, it generates a GEDCOMpare report which you work through either accepting or rejecting suggested matches with existing profiles at WikiTree. One of our mentors created a tutorial for the GEDCOMpare process that others found very helpful. I hope that you will too.

P.S. To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.
