Fannie (Simms) Wanzer is a part of US Black heritage.

Fannie Simms was born in 1872. She was the daughter of Daniel Simms and Frances Christian.^[1] In the 1880 census Fanny (age 10), At Home, was the daughter of Daniel Simms at Falls Church, Fairfax, Virginia, United States.^[2]

Fannie married Joseph Wanzer about 1887. In the 1900 census Fannie (age 25) was the wife of Joe Wanzer at Falls Church, Fairfax, Virginia.^[3] In the 1910 census Fannie (age 30), Laundress, was the wife of Joe Wansor at Falls Church, Fairfax, Virginia, United States.^[4] In the 1920 census Fannie (age 51), Laundress, was the wife of Joseph Wanzer at Falls Church, Fairfax, Virginia.^[5] In the 1930 census Fannie (age 50) was the wife of Joseph Wancer at 3003 Donaldsons Corner, Alexandria, Alexandria (Independent City), Virginia, United States.^[6] In the 1940 census Fanny (age 70) was the widowed head of household in Alexandria, Alexandria City, Virginia.^[7]

She died in 1942.^[1]
