Biography

On 21 Apr 1910 at the time of the 1910 US Census, head of household Susie L. Sill (age 53, born in PA) was Widowed, employed as a Dressmaker, and living in Coupeville, Island, Washington with her son, Nelson Sill (age 34, born in Iowa) employed as a Clerk at a Retail Grocery; daughter-in-law Mabel Sill (age 31, born in WA); granddaughter Claudine A. Sill (age 6, born in WA); and grandson Marion R. Sill (age 3, born in WA). Susie had given birth to two children, one of whom was still living. Both of Susie's parents were born in Pennsylvania. Nelson and Mabel had been married for 9 years; Mabel had given birth to two children, both of whom were still alive. Nelson's father had been born in Ohio. Mabel's father was born in Canada and her mother in England. ^[1]
