Bill: I added a reference to Anna Scherk-30 from the Hungary Catholic Church Records, 1636-1895.

It is curious that Scherk-22 and Scherk-30 have the same parents (one record name them Antal Scherk, Margit Bischof) but different baptism dates. I wonder if one died in infancy. Best regards, Victor

I think I have everything straightened out for now, I still have so much to add, but that will take years

to get to. If you have a specific interest is a specific family let me know and I will see if I have anything

Hi,

I noticed your new Club 100 badge.

Congratulations ?

Keep up the nice work.

Hi Bill -

I see you are working on merges, you may want to review Matching and Merging FAQ.

Remember, always merge from the highest profile number into the lowest profile number for correct last name at birth. If you have multiple profiles to merge into the same lowest number profile, please merge each one to the lowest one. For example, for xxx-3, xxx-2 and xxx-1, merge xxx-3 to xxx-1, and merge xxx-2 to xxx-1. Have fun! Sharon - WikiTree Ranger

Hi Bill,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Hello again Bill!

I just wanted to take a second to welcome you to the WikiTree family and thank you for volunteering! You're now a confirmed member. There are many great people and resources available here to help you.

If you already have or you are planning to upload a GEDCOM, you might want to check out our GEDCOM FAQ.

Keep in mind that our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile.

If I can help in any way, I will certainly do my best! Please don't hesitate to ask :)

Happy hunting!
