I have been researching my family history since about 1987 after listening to stories told by my grandmothers Thelma and Jess. They encouraged me to look deeper and record what I found for future generations. My mother Judith joined me in my hobby/obsession and together, we are the holders of our family's history.
I am especially interested in the history of women in our family and the journeys that they and their families made to come to Australia and New Zealand.
My families of special interest are:
Seymour / Hinton /Batchelor
Tipler / Hirst
Lampe / Jager
Bates / Parkinson / Gibbons
Price / Robbins / Rowlands
Bennett / Parker
Callaghan / Smith

It's time for the annual Australia Project membership checkin. Thank you so much for contributing to the project and Australian profiles on WikiTree during the last year. We really appreciate you!
If you would like to stay in the project, please reply to this message or send me a private message to let us know that you would like to stay on. Alternatively, if your WikiTree and research interests have moved away from Australia, please let us know and we can remove you from the membership list for the moment. You will, of course, be very welcome to rejoin the project down the track whenever you want to.
We are also keen to know if you want to make any changes to the team or teams that you want to focus on. Take a look on Australia Project Teams to see what teams there are to choose from. If you want to discuss this, or have any questions or suggestions about the Australia Project we'd love to hear your ideas.
Thanks for taking the time to get back to us!
Kind Regards
Margaret Haining Membership Coordinator
Thanks for getting in touch with me. I'm sorry that I've neglected the Australia project. My research has taken me down a different 'rabbit hole' recently. I'd like to do more Australian work in the future but I might leave it for now until I can tidy up this current branch that I'm working on.
Thanks Vikki
Thank you for your reply, and for your interest in the Australia Project in the past, and your past and continuing contributions to WikiTree, they are much appreciated.
As you are not in a position to be an active team member in the Project at this time, we will remove you from the Project list. You are always more than welcome to rejoin at any time.
Kind Regards

Thank you for your contributions to the March 2022 Sourcerers Challenge! As you know, every source added to an unsourced profile improves our One Tree. Thank you for taking time from your own family history to help others.
WT Appreciation Team
We are so happy you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.
Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree. They will save you time, energy, and frustration as you add your family profiles.
Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.
I've also noticed you are DNA tested. You may want to read the following help pages: DNA Features on Wikitree, How to add a DNA test to your profile & How to Get Started with DNA.
Questions? You can always use the G2G link in the Help Menu to find answers.
