I am going to look into this further. Have you done a DNA?
Coward’s Mill on White’s Creek was the property of James Coward, who died in 1845, leaving a considerable estate. and died there in 1817. He was probably descended from the earlier James, who owned land there in 1756.
I'm looking forward to working with you on those profiles!

Go ahead & add Anne Brampton. I guess nobody did it previously.
Regards,
Doug
I see that you added him and then removed him. I am not sure if his was/is the correct parent. I will dig into further.
Best, Caryl
I see that you removed James-859 for David James. Can you provide the evidence for removing him as David's father? He was named in James's will.
From James-859 profile: "His will, which was written 18 Jun 1708, was proven on 28 August 1708.[17] The children listed in the will were George James, David James, Sarah James, and Thomas James was named executor for his father's will. A son-in-law named David Lewis was also mentioned"
Thanks for all your work on WikiTree. I noticed that you recently created many profiles for a pre-1700 ancestors.
There have recently been some updates to the Pre-1700 Profile help page and the Pre-1700 Quiz since you took it in Nov 2018. Please review both and let me know if you have any questions or concerns. You will notice that the wording has been modified to more fully explain the sourcing needed for pre-1700 profiles.
We're looking for reliable sources to add to the various lists. Does Ancestry or FamilySearch provide any sources which would be good additions?
Thanks,
Sherry
Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, thus coordinating with others is essential.
