Biography

Anna Mary Selle was born on 1 September 1865, in St Marys, Elk County, Pennsylvania, to George Selle and Julia Kirschner (who were both born in Germany). ^[1]

About 1885, she married John Friedl. ^{[1] [2]} They reportedly had thirteen children, including:^[2][3]

In 1910 and 1920, John and Anna were living with their children at 369 Walnut Street, St Marys, Elk County, Pennsylvania. In 1910, John was a grocery wagon driver. ^[2] In 1920, he was a teamster for a department store. ^[3]

John died on 3 May 1929, at St Marys, Elk County, Pennsylvania, of arteriosclerosis, with hypertrophy of the prostate contributing. On 6 May, he was buried in St Mary's Cemetery, St Marys. ^[4]

On 16 December 1929, she died, at St Marys, Elk County, Pennsylvania. She died of chronic endocarditis, with acute dilatation contributing. On 18 December she was buried in St Mary's Cemetery, St Marys. ^[1]
