John died on 3 May 1929, at St Marys, Elk County, Pennsylvania, of arteriosclerosis, with hypertrophy of the prostate contributing.
On 6 May, he was buried in St Mary's Cemetery, St Marys.

On 16 December 1929, she died, at St Marys, Elk County, Pennsylvania.
She died of chronic endocarditis, with acute dilatation contributing.
On 18 December she was buried in St Mary's Cemetery, St Marys.
