Biography
Mary (Sellars) Watson was born in Lincolnshire, England.
Mary lived with her parents in Tattershall Thorpe in 1841.[2] Her father died in 1845[3] and her mother in 1850.[4] In 1851 Mary worked as a domestic servant for the Sumpter family in Billinghay, Lincolnshire.[5]
In 1857 Mary married William Wells in Tattershall.[6] The couple lived in Coningsby, Lincolnshire, in 1861.[7] William died in 1869.[8] In 1871 Mary was a washerwoman and lived in Tattershall with her children.[9]
Mary married Thomas Watson in 1873 in Tattershall.[10] In 1891 the family lived in Thorpe Tilney, Lincolnshire, where Thomas worked as an agricultural labourer.[11]
Mary died in 1897 at the age of 65. She was buried in Tattershall.[12]
