Biography
Ellen was born in 1870. She is the daughter of Henry Seed and Elizabeth Wilkinson. [1]
She passed away in 1962. [2]
- SORTON, Ellen (late of 417 Hereford street)—On January 12, 1962, at the residence of her daughter. Mrs R. Stirling, 8 Redruth avenue, Spreydon, beloved widow of the late J. T. Sorton, and dearly loved mother of Nell, and loved grandmother of Beverley and Peter; in her 92nd year. The Funeral will leave the residence of her daughter, 8 Redruth avenue, Spreydon, on Monday, after a Service commencing at 10 a.m„ for the Sydenham Cemetery.[3]
