Biography

Esther was a Friend (Quaker)

Esther was born 30d 4m 1779 [30 Apr 1779], eight days after her father died.[1][2] She was the daughter of William and Mary Seaman.[1][3]

On 26d 12m 1805, she married Willet Robbins, son of Stephen and Miriam Robbins.[3]

She is buried in Jericho Friends Burial Ground.[4]

Her obituary was printed in the New York Times:[5]

ROBBINS. -- "At Jericho, L.I., on Monday, Nov. 30, ESTHER ROBBINS, widow of Willet Robbins, in the 85th year of her age. Her friends, and those of the family, are invited to attend her funeral, from Friends Meeting-house, Jericho, on Fifth day, the 3d inst., at 11 o'clock A.M., without further invitation."
