I believe I’ve traced my Great Grandfather to East Berkshire, Vt. I know they were from Vermont and he moved to Chateaugay NY. Trying to discover more about Barnes family. Also my Grandmother’s family name Gray in Chateaugay came from Quebec. Relations to Patnodes, Dechambeau’s.

My father, last name Scott, was an orphan grew up in orphanage Oswego, NY. Enlisted in Navy WWII, left on a Destroyer out of Boston. Known 1 sister Mary. Birth certificate shows mother Mary Scott, several children. From Scotland
