In the 1870 U.S. Census for Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Ernest Schultz, age 53 born in Baden, is head of household. Also listed are Margaret, age 51, born in Baden; Monia (Minnie?), age 22, born in New York; Dora, age 20, born in New York, and Emma, age 2, born in Wisconsin. [1]
By 1880 the family was still in Milwaukee, but only "Ernst F", 63, Margaret, age 60, and Charles, age 22 are in the household. [2]
"E.F. Schultz" and "Margret Inghod" are named as the parents of Minnie Schultz in the record of Minnie's marriage in Iowa in 1888. [3] Both are also named as the parents of Dora Elizabeth Epp in the record of her death in 1911.[4]
NOTE: There is an 1857 Naturalization record for "Ernest F Schutz" which may or may not be this Ernest Schultz. [5]
