How are you? I'm David a WikiTree Mentor. Thanks for adding profiles to WikiTree. There are reasons behind the eighth point in our Honor Code: "We cite sources. Without sources we can't objectively resolve conflicting information." A source provides a way to find out more about the person. Showing sources reduces confusion and duplicates.

Did you know that if you click the green tags on your profile page, you can see if other members are following that tag. Add your interests, surnames, or locations to your profile. The more tags you add the more links to community & research options.

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects coordinating them is essential. Please ensure location data matches date of profile and avoid abbreviations. Citations & links for sources enable verification of data please add from wiki ID go to Research to find sources

The German Roots would be of interest. Adding the tag German_Roots will help you get updates about the project.

Explore Pre-1700 Projects list to find one that fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Read the goals & tasks of the project join if it fist.
