I have been doing research on my family for over 10 years. Not being able to visit archives I have been mostly dependent on the internet. I have come quite far in my research and have learned a few things about genealogy records. The most important that I have learned is that it is addicting and will never end.
I have genealogy information in the Dutch language on line at: [http://www.genealogieonline.nl/schouten-stamboom/

I notice you haven't been active in years now. Can you please let us know if you still work on the profiles you manage, like adding the required sources, or if you prefer to orphan them so others can take over and take care for them?

I'm member/part of the Dutch_Roots_Project. Would love to have you helping us! Would you like to join us?
Kind regards from the Netherlands. Astrid
Remember, after the merge you will want to clean up the text. During a merge, the text from the merged-away profile is simply appended onto the end of the text of the merged-into profile. You will want to integrate it into a single biography and a single sources section.
You will also want to review all other family members for potential duplicates and review any conflicts in parents. If you have any questions, just let me know.

Noticed you have a lot of Dutch profiles, don't know if you're Dutch? In case you didn't know or heard of it already , we have a :Dutch Roots Project ! Here you can read what the project is about and if you're interested and would like to join just let me know :)

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree with one profile per person. The farther back you go, it's likely you will find duplicate profiles to link into, so it's a good idea to do a search before you create a new profile.
Do you have Royal Ancestors? If so, they are already here! Please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their already existing profiles.
WikiTree strives to be a fun, collaborative, productive site. It's also different than what many people are used to. Please take advantage of the Help Menu in the upper right hand corner, our G2G Forum and of course, our Mentors :)
Do you have any questions I can help with?

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree. Everything on WikiTree is a collaborative work in progress so dont forget to read and sign our Honor Code. This is what keeps WikiTree a friendly and helpful community. We have many friendly members, feel free to ask if you have any questions.
A couple suggestions to get you started:
1. Our Honor Code is a very important part of why our community is such a friendly place to grow your family tree so please take some time to read it.
2. Feel free to ask a question at our G2G forum.
3. Our help pages, top right, have all sorts of useful information.
If you would like to contribute, click the volunteer button and leave a comment here on your profile to let our greeters know. You should include a little bit about how you plan to contribute to the tree.
Good luck growing your branches ~Michele~
