Kind regards from Black Forest
I am related to you through three lines so far from what I see- Ebeling, Braun and Dumont. I see that your Dumont line is incomplete because the Dumont family from Nierstein came from Neuchatel, Switzerland and I will shortly be trying to find how your Dumont line with Johann Reichard Dumont fits in with Abraham Dumont II (1703-1761) and Anna Elizabetha Strub (1724-1761), my 7th great grandparents.
Here is some information which is unsourced but is a great starting point. Evidently Abraham II was married twice, first to your nth great grandmother, Sabine Theresia Heuss, and second to my 7th great grandmother, Anna Elizabetha Strub. His mother was Lucrece Sandoz, and the Sandoz family of Le Locle, Neuchatel, Switzerland seems to be established for generations there.

I have added my ancestor Louisa Catharina (Catharine) Ebeling, the daughter of Johann Jacob Ebeling and Maria Katharina Braun, to the tree but as of yet I haven't added the others but I will be this week.

The Dumont line is complicated . At one time I had added the Swiss connection but felt I did not have enough proof that they were connected to my line . Some of my family in the USA had different dates . I have connections to the Eblings on both sides of my family but will send you a PM tomorrow.
I am afraid that only Archion access will help us with these connections, because I can't as of now find out where these dates come from. Someone obviously found this somewhere legitimately but left no sourcing.
Thank you!
While browsing through the list of members of the Hesse Team, I found your profile, and your ancestor Johann Heinrich Emmerich. I have several Emmerich families among my own ancestors, who came from Frankenberg/Eder and Battenfeld, both in Waldeck-Frankenberg, Hesse. So your ancestor sparked my interest.
Using the records available on Archion, I added some details to Johann Heinrich's profile. I'm sure there's more to be found in the earlier records. Maybe the Emmerichs from Eckartshausen lead back to Frankenberg eventually? The Emmerich family from Frankenberg can be traced back to the 1400s.
Best wishes, Daniel Bamberger
You mentioned some possible children, however, for some reason they don’t seem to match mine. Could you please message me?
Greetings from Marburg! Daniel Bamberger
P.S. We can switch to German, if you prefer.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree as much as I have. You never know when you will find a lost family member or ancestor. Or maybe find a hidden family secret about an ancestor. Genealogy to me is like being a detective looking for clues into the past.
