Biography
Jacob was born about 1613 in Alsace, France. He married Anna Margaretha (maiden name unknown); Anna was approximately 20 years younger than Jacob. They lived in Oberhoffen-sur-Moder, Offendorf District, Alsace, France under the Hanau-Lichtenberg Earldom. Jacob was a shepherd. They had three children together there. Jacob died in Oberhoffen in 1685 at age 72 and was buried there. His wife Anna died the following year.
