Mary Ellen Sandlin, daughter of James Sandlin and Margaret E. (Gregory) Sandlin, was born about 1850 in Wisconsin.
She married John Nelson Gillham, son of Thomas C. Gillham and Mary Ann (Hill) Gillham, on 1 April 1866 in Grant County, Wisconsin.[1]
She and John appeared on the census of 18 June 1870 at Fort Calhoun, Washington County, Nebraska.[2]
