Biography

Private Enoch Sanborn served with Lincoln County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

Enoch Sanborn is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A099720.

Enoch Sanborn was baptized at Hampton, New Hampshire, 28 Jun 1724, died at Machias, Maine, in 1778. During the American Revolutionary War, Enoch enlisted as a Private in Captain Joseph Sevey's company, under Colonel Benjamin Foster, in the Lincoln county Regiment. Enoch is honored for his military service by the Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, as Ancestor #A099720. DAR records indicate that his wives names were Mary Morrill, Sarah Greene Sanborn, Phebe Sanborn and Hannah Day. Application for membership in the Society of the DAR have been made by the desendants of his son John Sanborn, who married Elizabeth "Betsey" Parker. ^[1]
