Because pre-1700 ancestors are usually shared by many descendants, collaborating with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Review the project pages to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.

I just added Agathe Beaudette (Beaudette-152) and Florent Beaudette ( Beaudette-153) to my family tree a week ago. Now I see that they have become entangled with your Denis Boutet, who is definitely not their half brother, having apparently been born around 1600.
I have been unable to disconnect my Beaudettes from Boutet as it says to change the father but he has no father.
This was undoubtedly caused by the breeesefam.ged.
If you have additional information that would support a merge or setting them as rejected, could you add that to the profile & either re-propose the merge or set them as rejected?
Thanks!
PS - I've also posted this message to the manager of the other profile.
To my knowledge Charlotte Petit is not the daughter of Nicolas Petit and Catherine Anceline.
They were in different locations in France. One in Gué d'Alleré Charente Maritime and the other in Languedoc.
I will remove her as a daughter.
If you disagree or have sources to prove otherwise please get in touch w3ith me.

To my knowledge, Andrée Guyon's parents are unknown.
Probably through merges, her parents were listed as Jean Guyon and Mathurine Robin.
I took them out.
Should you disqgree or have sources to prove otherwise, please let me know.
Regards.
