Biography
On 11 Feb 1760, in Saint-Étienne de Beaumont, Pierre Roy son of Guillaume Roy and Geneviève Couture married Charlotte D'Alere daughter of Joseph d'Alere and Charlotte Renaut. [1]
On January 11th 1768, in Notre-Dame-de-Québec, Pierre Le Roy, resident of Beaumont, widower of Charlotte D'alaire, son of deceased Guillaume Le Roy and deceased Geneviève Couture, married Marie Catherine Drouin, native of Ste-Famille-de-L'Ile-d'Orléans, now living in Québec City, daughter of deceased Joseph Drouin and Marie Charlotte Aubé. Witnesses included the groom's friends Louis Allaire and Jacques Crémasy; the bride's brothers Joseph and Charles Drouin and her sister Rose Drouin. several others are also named. The wedding party could not sign but a few of the other attendees did.[2]
