Biography
Jacques was born about 1756.[1] He was the son of Nicolas Roy and Marie Orillac from Angoulême.
Jacques married Marie Cyr (born perhaps in the Province of Georgia; daughter of Acadian exiles Joseph Cyr and Marguerite Bourgeois) on 15 April 1776 in Môle-Saint-Nicolas, Saint-Domingue. [2]
