Biography
William was born in 1862, the son of Samuel Rowe and Emelia Phillip. [1] His parents had married in 1848 at Liskeard, Cornwall, England.
In 1885 in Victoria, he married Margaret Holden (1864-1926). [2]
They had about 10 children...

Margaret died in 1926, and in 1927 he married widowed Augusta Lucinda Butcher. [3] Her name was recorded as "Augusta Lucy Butcher."
He passed away in 1946, aged 84. [4] His father was shown as "William Rowe," and mother as "Amelia Philps."

- ROWE.—On October 18, at his residence, 15 Ryan street, East Brunswick, William, the dearly beloved husband of Lucy and the late Margaret Rowe, and dearly loved father of Amelia (Mrs. J. Mottram), David, William (deceased), Elizabeth (Mrs. S. Knight), George, Jessie (Mrs. H. Knight), Samuel, Grace (Mrs. F. Smith), Charles, and Eva (Mrs. S. Newman), aged 84 years. —At rest. [5]
His wife, Lucy, died in 1949.
