Thank you for this information. My 3rd great grandfather is Benjamin Rouse and in Ancestry the information shows Johannes Rouse Sr. as his father and Eyche (Egbertson) Rouse as the mother. But I have not been able to find proof that this is true. Would you have any information regarding this? I also know Lewis Rouse is my 3rd great Uncle.
I think that Lewis Rouse is father is Simon Rouse (Rouse-2718). I don't think John Rouse Sr.(Rouse-2334) is Lewis;s Father. John Rouse Sr. is presently listed as Lewis's father. I have found Simon listed as Lewis's father on Ancestry.
