Allen Rouse was born about Feb 1800 in Bullitt, Kentucky, United States, son of Moses M. Rouse (1783–1837) and Sarah Elizabeth (Simmons) Rouse (~1784–1859).

Allen had a brother, Alfred Rouse (1805–1868).

Allen died on 25 Aug 1877 in Boone, aged about 77.

Allen married Elizabeth (Bolton) Rouse (born about 1808 in Maryland, United States; daughter of James Bolton and Lucinda (Shaw) Bolton). Their known son was David Allen Rouse (1823–1890).

In 1830, Allen (30) was living in Mount Washington, Bullitt, Kentucky. ^[1]
