Mr. P. J. Bofe The death occurred on Thursday afternoon of Mr. Percy James Rofe, school inspector in the north-eastern district since 1931. After completing his training, he went to his first school in 1899, at Kadina. Later he served as assistant at Wellington road school and first assistant at Goodwood He then spent many years in the country, having charge of the schools at Oodla Wirra, Morphett Vale, Nackera, Wirrabara, Morgan, Heathfield, and Murray Bridge. He was then promoted to the metropolitan area and served at Marryatville and later went to Solomontown. He was headmaster at Wellington road and the Currie street Practising School before being appointed inspector.
