Albert Rockett was born in England.

Albert Rockett was born on August 26, 1866 in Brotherton, Yorkshire, England. the son of Robert Rockett and Emma (Pickering) Rockett. He was christened on 04 November 1866 in Brotherton.[1] Albert was the brother of John Rockett, John Thomas Rockett, Herbert Rockett, Jeanette Rockett, Amelia G. (Rockett) Harrison, Eveline Rockett, Emma S. (Rockett) Lane and Elsie Rockett.[2] Albert was apprenticed as a glass bottle blower in 24 February 1883 to William Macvay and Richard Sykes, glass bottle manufacturers of Castleford in the West Riding. The apprenticeship was for 5 years. The Indentures state that he needed permission to marry which was preumably granted when he married Emma Luty 2 years later. Albert married Emma Luty about September 1885 in Pontefract, Yorkshire, England. [3] They had the following children:[4]
