Biography

Matthias C. Roche, son of Mathias Croe Roach and Rhetta Edwards was born on 30 Aug 1876 in Brownstown Indiana, ^[1] along with a twin brother, Mason or L.C. on 1880 census. The family soon relocates to Hannibal Missouri,^[2] where his father Mathias, died in 1884. The family then moves to Knox Illinois, where Mathias would marry Olive Edwards on 2 July 1902.^[3] and raise at least four children, listed below.^[4]

Matthias passed away on 16 August 1946, in Galesburg Illinois,^[1] where he had lived for many years. working as a nightwatchman for the Victor Casket Hardware company. ^[5]
