Biography

Sarah was born in 1862 in Allaire, New Jersey. ^{[1] [2] [3] [4] [5]}

On 11 June 1893 she (age 31) married Ellsworth Cottrell in Sea Side. ^[2]

In 1900 she (age 39) lived in the Borough of Highlands, Middletown Township with husband Ellsworth (38), son Elsworth (14), and daughters Maud (5) and Marian (2). ^[3]

In 1905 she (age 42) was living in Highlands with Ellsworth (43), Elsworth (19), Maud (10), and Marian (7). He was a shell fisherman. ^[4]

On 22 June 1932 her obituary was published In the Daily Register. The obituary listed son Ellsworth Cottrell and daughters Mrs. Maude Kettleson and Mrs. Richard Rast, and brother Perrine Robertson and sister Mrs. Kate Parker as surviving her. All lived in Highlands. ^[1] She was buried in Bay View Cemetery, Leonardo. ^[5]
