Homer Lake Robertson was born October 17, 1891, in Fairfield, Texas, to Jessie Taylor Robertson and Emma E. (Condidie ??) Robertson.^{[1][2][3][4][5]}

He passed away on July 23, 1961, in Fairfield, Texas, from carcinoma of the pancreas^[1][2][3][6] and is buried in the Fairfield Cemetery (Fairfield, Texas) next to his 2nd wife Jewel Lunette (White) Robertson.^[7]

Obituary

Former Sheriff Rites Tuesday At Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, July 29 (Spl.)— Funeral services for Homer Lake Robertson, 69, former Freestone county sheriff and deputy sheriff, were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the First Baptist church. Robertson died in the Freestone County hospital Sunday following an illness of several weeks. The rites were conducted by Rev. S. Downey Mills, pastor; Rev. R. D. Brown of Waco and Rev. Jack McDaniel, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church. Interment was in Fairfield Cemetery with Masons in charge of the graveside rites. He was a Baptist, Mason, Order of Eastern Star and Royal Arch Mason at Teague.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs Jewel White Robertson, Fairfield; two daughters; a son; a brother, Condia Robertson, Fairfield; three sisters, Mrs. J. M. Mecy, Elgin; Mrs. O. K. Scott, Austin, and Mrs. P. M. McCann, West Covine, Calif.; and other relatives. Capps directed.
