Biography
Cliff was born on 23rd December 1919 at Hednant, Porthlwyd, Caernarfon in the Conway registration district, the son of Griffith Roberts (Recaster in Aluminium Works Ex army) and Elizabeth Roberts formerly Williams.[1][2]
At the time of the 1921 census, Cliff was 1 year and 5 months old, the youngest child of Griffith and Elizabeth Roberts. The family lived at No 1 Hillside Cottages, Dolgarrog, where they had four rooms.[3]
