Biography
Samuel Robbins was born on 16 April 1803, in Brooklyn, Windham, Connecticut. He was the son of John Robbins (1781-1820) and Hannah Kingsbury (1785-1820).[1]
Samuel married Bethiah Haile 4 January 1824. They had four children, and Bethiah died in childbirth with the last one in 1835. Samuel next married Sophronia Bard (abt.1809-) on 26 November 1837.[2]
In 1850, Samuel, a bookkeeper, Sophronia, and their son Charles are living in Brooklyn, New York, with Sophronia's brothers and their families.[3]
In 1870, the family is living in Brooklyn, Connecticut.[4]

Samuel died at age 70 on 3 February 1874 in Brooklyn, Windham County, Connecticut,and is buried in the South Cemetery in Brooklyn.[5]
