In the 1930 federal census of New York City, taken 9 April, Frank Rizzo, 44 (b. 1886), heads a household at 455E. 116th St. with his wife, Mary, 42, and children Anthony, 21 (b. 1909), Angelina, 19, Daniel, 16, and Grace, 14. Frank, Mary, and Anthony, were born in Italy ane emigrated in 1909. The younger children were born in NY. Frank is a building laborer. Anthony is a candy salesman. Angelina is a dressmaker.[2]
Anthony Rizzo, age 27 (b. 1910), born in Italy, son of Frank Rizzo and Maria De Renna, marries Laura Nicolosi, age 19 (b. 1918), born in NYC, daughter of Frank Nicolosi and Vincenza Morello, on 24 January 1937 in Manhattan.[3]
Anthony and Laura have at least one child, Anthony Phillip (1943).
In the 1940 federal census of New York City, taken 2 April, Anthony Rizzo, 31 (b. 1909), born in Italy, and his wife Laura, 23 (b. 1917), born in NY, live at 455 E. 116th St. He is a house painter, working on his own account.[4]
Anthony and Laura’s son, Anthony Phillip Rizzo, dies in infancy. He was born 12 August 1943 in NYC and died 24 November the same year. He is buried in St. Raymonds Cemetery. His last address is 455 E. 116th St., NYC.[5]
