Biography
Giuseppa Riina, the first child of Liborio Riina, a farmer, and Francesca Governali, who married in 1846, is born on 10 September 1847 in her parents' home on via Lombardia in Corleone.[1] She is named after her father's first wife.
Giuseppa marries Biagio Pasqua, son of Francesco Pasqua and the late Apollonia Zabbia, on 11 October 1868. Her father has died by this time.[2]
Biagio and Giuseppa have at least one child, Francesco (1869).
Francesco is born and baptized 7 December 1869 in Corleone. His godparents are Rosolino lo Curto and Lucia Riina, a married couple.[3] He is named after his paternal grandfather.
