Biography

Vincenzo Riina is born 6 December 1908 and baptized the next day. He is the son of Bernardo Riina and Girolama Saporito. His godparents are Leoluca Riina and Maria Concetta Coniglio, a married couple.

In the margin, it is noted that Vincenzo marries Giuseppa di Miceli, daughter of Biagio, in the Mother Church on 24 October 1937.[1] This is confirmed in the matrimonial index.[2]

Vincenzo and Giuseppa have at least one child, Bernardo (1938).

Bernardo is born 27 February 1938.[3] He is named after his paternal grandfather.

Vincenzo's brother, Giovanni, marries Giuseppa's sister, Leoluchina, in 1946.

Bernardo appears among the defendants at the 1969 Mafia trial in Bari, Italy.[3]
