Grim was is nearer us than we ever realized. Harry Riggle has made the supreme sacrifice, even if he did not go “over there” and “over the top.” But he gave his life for his country 'and for the glory of his flag just as freely as if he had been fighting at the front. Harry died of pneumonia. The remains were brought home Saturday and memorial services held at Odd Fellows hall Wednesday. He leaves his father and mother, three sisters and, a large circle of friends to mourn his early death. The bereaved family can have the consolation of visiting his grave and cover it with fragrant flowers. The entire family have the sympathy of all in the loss of the only son and brother. May God comfort all who are called on to give up their sons to death in this more than terrible struggle for freedom. [5]
