Biography
Vanessa and her six siblings ( Betty, Susie, Alice, Dorine, Diane, James Jr), died from poisoning in a meal of beans and rice laced with pesticide. The meal was allegedly prepared for them by their dad, an uneducated migrate worker, but served to them by a babysitter, their neighbor, Bessie Reese. James Joseph Richardson was wrongly convicted and spent decades in prison before being exonerated.
The daughter of James Joseph Richardson and Annie Mae. A combined family of Richardson and wife Annie Mae's children, there was one son and six daughters with ages ranging from 2 to 8 years old.
